Sadly, sometimes, some things are too good to be true – like Lance Armstrong. But Saturday’s opening performance of Gladiator at The Factory in Porth really did beggar belief. But it was all true. We put together a show in three days. People turned up. And kept turning up. And more and more kept turning up. Until we ran out of chairs. People were turned away – but we called them back. They sat behind pillars, they stood against walls, they even sat on the set ( I made that last bit up. ) They came, they saw and I think we conquered.
